ACL Eats Food Court 2009

September 17, 2009
It’s the best time of the year. No I am not talking about Christmas. I’m talking about ACL! The time were thousands of music fans gather together in Zilker park to sweat buckets, drink some brew (hopefully the new grass will stay intact and not flock to my brewski) and listen to some of their favorite jams. Austin City Limits music festival is back and with a lineup better than ever, minus all the cancellations-grrr. This year C3 has pulled together some great acts such as Pearl Jam, Kings of Leon, Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears (I love their song “Get yo shit”), Phoenix, Mishka, Dave Matthews and much more. Known for the wide diversity of indie bands and mainstream acts, ACL also offers other great perks, such as the delicious ACL Eats Food Court. With a focus mainly on local restaurants and businesses, there is something for every craving. The list includes many repeat restaurants, like the ever-so-tasty Hudson’s on the Bend and their famous chicken avocado cone. Enjoy the list and start planning your foodie stops at this year’s ACL!

Drum roll please…

      Hi Lauren-

      Thanks for the comment.

I spoke with Torchy’s Tacos today about their ACL menu and they will be serving all their tacos at ACL this year on flour tortillas, which makes them not gluten-free. It’s too bad… they were going to be one of the only booths with a gluten-free option if they used their corn tortillas.
