Wild Wood Mother’s Day Lunch (5/9) + Ciola’s Gluten-Free Dinner (6/12)

Wild Wood has created a mouth-watering menu for Mother’s Day lunch, this Sunday, May 9th. Each mother will receive 1 free mimosa. No RSVP’s are required, but reservations are encouraged. They will be open from 11am-7:30 pm. In addition to their regular menu items, they will also be serving these specials:

Mesquite smoked Cornish game hen, with garlic mashed potatoes & gravy, and baby spring vegetables.

Smoked beef tenderloin, accompanied by parmesan polenta with sun-dried tomatoes and baby spring vegetables.

Smoked Portobello mushrooms, with a field green salad and lemon jalapeno sauce, plus choice of baby spring vegetables or parmesan polenta with sun-dried tomatoes.

Ciola’s Italian Restaurant, in Lakeway, is hosting a gluten-free dinner (7 courses) on June 12th. Reservations are required and seating is limited. Call (512) 263-9936 for reservations. $45 per person. The dinner includes vegan options as well. The menu options are below:


Frosted Champagne grapes with seasoned bittersweet chocolate


Sugar glazed roasted beets tossed with granny smith apples,
endive, candied walnuts, and goat cheese


Truffled white risotto topped with arugula,
shaved fennel, and extra virgin olive oil

Verdura Primo

Assortment of baked seasonal mushrooms tossed with olive oil and herbs

Verdura Segundo

Braised sweet potatoes in a spicy tomato ragu with a mix of peppers, chilies, and olives


Peach Sorbet


Stewed strawberries with mint finished with a basil gelato
