Dell Fox Fit kicks off July 23rd with a gourmet lakeside gala dinner at Rough Hollow. Gluten-free friendly options will be available. The tickets for the dinner are $125 a piece, contact email@example.com if you are interested in attending the dinner. Proceeds go to Maggie’s Hope, a local non-profit that helps autistic children and their families discover out-of-the-box treatments and therapies. Saturday, July 24th, there will be a 6, 12, and 18 mile bike ride as well as a 10k run and a 2 mile walk. Later in the afternoon there will be a gluten-free health expo with many local and national vendors; including Pamela from Pamela’s gluten-free baking mixes! The fitness events and expo are free! Tommy Bahama has released a new gluten-free menu. We do not have a location in Austin, but next time you are in The Woodlands, stop on by!
A local company called Salsa Queen is serving up fresh salsas that are gluten-free and full of flavor! Her products are available at different markets around town, as well as Whole Foods and Central Market. For more information on locations, click here.

Bona Dea Bread has officially gone gluten-free. Order by 10 p.m. tonight and receive 2 free sourdough sorghum buns with your delivery. This week they also have lemon-ginger scones, pizza crusts and gluten-free baking mixes. You can also pick up their baking mixes at Whole Foods or the Austin Farmer’s Market.
Blackbird Bakery, owned by the talented Karen Morgan of Austin, is holding a gluten-free recipe contest this month. There will be a winner every Friday, which she will announce on her blog.
